We are seeking a passionate and fast thinking Event Support Worker to join our team. This role would be great for someone who is studying Event Management and is wanting some hands on experience in the event world.

 

Job Description

As an Event Support Worker you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our events. You will work closely with the Event Coordinator to execute seamless events while building long lasting connections to our stall holders and the local community.

 

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, vendor coordination, feedback collection and event pack down. 

 

Qualifications/Experience/Skills

• Working with Children, Blue Card Required.

• First-Aid Certificate Required.

• Previous experience in event planning or coordination preferred.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Reliability. 

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Hours

• Casual employment contract. 

• Roughly 20 hours per month with ability to increase in the future. 

• Strong potential to be extended to permanent part-time for the right candidate. 

• Occasional out of hours work required. Must be available to work 1PM - 10PM on Friday and Saturday afternoons (plenty of notice will be given).
